BACKGROUND:

On November 21, 2017, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with GCW, Inc. for engineering services for the Clark County 215 South Bruce Woodbury Beltway between Decatur Boulevard and Interstate 15 project.

The Board previously approved Supplemental Nos. 1 and 2 to the professional engineering services contract with GCW, Inc. for design of Phase Two of the project, which is considered to be the ultimate configuration of the Beltway, and the redesign of the bridge widening over the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) tracks.

Supplemental No. 3 to the professional engineering services contract provides for additional design and related services associated with the design and construction of the Phase 2 improvements.  Additional services consist of providing design revisions associated with coordination of adjacent projects, performing construction support to attend construction meetings, and reviewing shop drawings and/or submittals. The time of performance remains effective until January 30, 2025, unless further time extensions are granted.

GCW, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
