On June 10, 2021, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1283, from its adopted Capital Improvement Plan, for construction of the Karen Avenue between Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Wash project. The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on July 6, 2021.

Supplemental No. 3 to Interlocal Contract No. 1283 increases total funds for construction to cover in-house labor costs.

RTC approved the third supplemental contract at its meeting on August 8, 2024.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
