BACKGROUND:

The Clark County Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) approved funding for the Orchard Detention Basin project on its 1997, 2002, 2008, 2013, 2018, and 2023 Master Plan Updates.

Supplemental No. 20 to the interlocal contract increases design funding for additional engineering services required to incorporate construction cost saving revisions within newly acquired County property, and construction support for the portion between Charleston Boulevard and Linden Avenue. The project completion date remains effective until December 31, 2027, unless further time extensions are granted.

RFCD approved the twentieth supplemental contract at its meeting on November 13, 2025.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the twentieth supplemental contract as to form.
