BACKGROUND:
On December 17, 2025, the United States District Court entered an order granting, in part, a motion for a preliminary injunction. The order enjoined Clark County from enforcing provisions § 7.100.030, § 7.100.230(d)(1)(I),§ 7.100.220, § 7.100.250, and § 1.14.020(g) of the Clark County Code. These provisions concern the licensure and regulation of Short-Term Rentals.
The Clark County District Attorney's Office believes that this decision is in error. Accordingly, the Clark County District Attorney's Office hereby requests authority to file an appeal of the decision with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
