BACKGROUND: 

The augmentation procedure, as prescribed by NRS 354.598005, is a two-meeting process and this action represents the final step in this process.  At the March 5, 2024 Board of County Commissioners meeting, the Board directed the Clerk to publish the Notice of Intent to Act on a Resolution to Augment the General Fund (1010) budget. 

The publication was accomplished on March 12, 2024, to meet legal requirements.  Therefore, in order to complete the augmentation procedure, the attached Resolution to Augment the Fiscal Year 2024 General Fund (1010) must be adopted.  Following adoption of the Resolution to Augment, the Resolution will be forwarded to the State of Nevada Department of Taxation.
