BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606409-22, for Decatur Boulevard, Tropicana Avenue to Sahara Avenue was advertised on November 3, 2022 and opened on December 15, 2022. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for roadway removal and reconstruction improvements on Decatur Boulevard, from Tropicana Avenue to Sahara Avenue, and intersecting side streets. Such improvements include, reconstruction of the pavement with ADA ramp upgrades; installation of new loop detectors at signalized intersections; traffic signal improvements at the intersections with Harmon Avenue, University Avenue, Penwood Avenue and Sahara Avenue; hot mix asphaltic concrete pavement providing three through lanes in each direction with center medians and continuous right turn lane; repair of damaged curb, gutter and sidewalk areas; landscape and aesthetics treatments for the entire running median islands; lighting modifications; utility modifications and relocations; traffic control intelligent transportation (ITS) devices; pavement markings; intersection street improvements; concrete bus pads at transit stops, horizontal and vertical transitions; upgrade signage, and other necessary appurtenances.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 300 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
