BACKGROUND:

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved the Intersection Improvements: Warm Springs Road at Tamarus Street, and Silverado Ranch Boulevard at Valley View Boulevard project on its annual Capital Improvement Program from its Highway Improvement Fund for Fiscal Year 2024.

Interlocal Contract No. 3157 provides funds for construction of traffic signal roadway improvements at Warm Springs Road and Tamarus Street, and at Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Valley View Boulevard. All necessary right-of-way to construct the project has been obtained and Clark County is ready to advertise the project for construction. The time of performance is effective until December 31, 2029, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on June 13, 2024.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
