BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 607325-24, for Greystone Campus Improvements Phase 3 was advertised on October 3, 2024 and opened on November 4, 2024. The Bid amounts are as follows:
BIDS RECEIVED: BASE BID PLUS ADDITIVE ALTERNATE NO. 1 - 5:
Burke Construction Group, Inc. (NBE) $11,602,814
Benchmark Contracting, Inc. dba Cobblestone Construction (NBE) $11,609,481
Sletten Construction of Nevada, Inc. (NBE) $17,917,418*
*The Bid received from Sletten Construction, Inc. is recommended for rejection for being non-responsive for failing to submit Bid Attachment 3 - Subcontractors Exceeding 1% of Base Bid Amount form.
This Contract is for the replacement of all Roof Top Units (RTU), repairing and painting stucco, metal railings, soffits, trellis, and removal and replacement of existing roof membrane and coverboard on all four (4) buildings.
Additive Alternate No. 1 will for provide for a 1/2" coverboard, tapered insulation, rigid insulation and air barrier. New roofing system will include insulation, air barrier and coverboard at Building 1900.
Additive Alternate No. 2 will provide for a 1/2" coverboard, tapered insulation, rigid insulation and air barrier. New roofing system will include insulation, air barrier and coverboard at Building 1850.
Additive Alternate No. 3 will provide for a 1/2" coverboard, tapered insulation, rigid insulation and air barrier. New roofing system will include insulation, air barrier and coverboard at Building 2000.
Additive Alternate No. 4 will provide for a 1/2" coverboard, tapered insulation, rigid insulation and air barrier. New roofing system will include insulation, air barrier and coverboard at Building 2030.
Additive Alternate No. 5 will provide for the removal and replacement of cracked existing concrete site walk at Building 2030.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 330 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
