EMS Billing Services

Additional Comments:

The initial Contract amount was estimated not to exceed the amount of $250,000, Amendment No. 1 will have no fiscal impact, for a total Contract amount not to exceed $250,000.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On April 18, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606308-22 for EMS Billing Services to Digitech Computer LLC (LBE) in the amount not to exceed $250,000 for Emergency Medical services transport billing.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:

                     The term of the Contract was from date of award through December 31, 2023 and included the option to                      renew for four (4), one-year periods. There are 4 renewal options remaining.
                     Included the option to increase the award amount up to 10% for possible price increases for renewal                      terms.
                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract                      with advanced written notice.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will allow added language into the Contract that identifies electronic remittance responsibilities.  The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications involved.

The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort.
