Additional Comments:

The total Contract approval award is estimated in the amount of $1,368,750 should the extension be exercised.

 

BACKGROUND: 

This Contract is for juvenile assessment center services at the new location scheduled to open on July 1, 2021 with Eagle Quest (NBE).

A Fiscal Directive No. 6, Competitive Bidding Exception, was approved because AB309 funding was appropriated to expand services. Eagle Quest currently provides successful services at existing centers.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
                     The term of the Contract is from June 1, 2021 through December 31, 2022 and includes the option to                      extend for up to 6 months.
                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with                      advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b), the competitive bidding process is not required as the services to be performed are professional in nature.

Eagle Quest currently holds a Clark County Business License.
