On July 8, 2021, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1299 (inadvertently numbered as No. 1297) in the amount of $200,000 for the "Trail Maintenance Volunteer Coordination - Fiscal Year 2022-2024" project to contract with Outdoors Las Vegas Foundation d/b/a Get Outdoors Nevada, to coordinate the work of volunteers in the performance of trail maintenance for Clark County (Public Works Project No. PW.R00196D), City of Las Vegas, City of North Las Vegas, City of Henderson, City of Boulder City, and City of Mesquite (collectively "Member Entities"). The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on August 3, 2021.
On June 8, 2023, the RTC Board of Commissioners approved Contract No. 24-005 between the RTC and the Outside Las Vegas Foundation, operating as Get Outdoors Nevada, for Trail Maintenance Volunteer Coordination within Clark County and the Cities of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, and Henderson. Supplemental No. 6 to Interlocal Contract No. 1299 will allocate funds to continue this program for the period of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
RTC has prepared the sixth supplemental contract for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the sixth supplemental contract at its meeting on June 11, 2026.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the sixth supplemental contract as to form.
