BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606159-22, for Sammy Davis Jr. Drive, Frank Sinatra Drive to Sahara Avenue was advertised on April 7, 2022 and opened on May 12, 2022. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for approximately 1.5 miles of roadway rehabilitation and infill for the Sammy Davis Jr. Drive roadway improvements between Frank Sinatra Drive and Sahara Avenue. Improvements for Sammy Davis Jr. Drive consist of full depth roadway reconstruction, and mill and overlay of existing pavement within the existing 100' right-of-way. Along Sammy Davis Jr. Drive, improvements will also include, removal and installation of existing and new median islands, ADA improvements, minor storm drain systems, traffic signal upgrades, upgrades to streetlights, ITS/fiber optic installation, and pavement marking and signing.
The project also includes roadway rehabilitation to South Bridge Lane from Sammy Davis Jr. Drive to Sahara Avenue. Improvements for South Bridge Lane consist of, full depth roadway reconstruction, and mill and overlay of existing pavement, within the existing right-of-way, widening the curb return at Sahara Avenue to accommodate the off tracking of truck trailers, minor storm drain system, and pavement markings.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 200 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
