BACKGROUND:

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved the Residential Streets Pavement Reconstruction Nos. 108 and 109 project on its annual Capital Improvement Program from its Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund - Fuel Revenue Indexing for Fiscal Year 2026.

Interlocal Contract No. 3267 provides funds for construction of the subject project. The project consists of pavement reconstruction on various residential streets within Clark County. The work includes repairing pavement base failures as needed by excavating and replacing the existing pavement material, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ramp upgrades, removing and replacing concrete sidewalk panels, curb and gutter, spandrels/cross gutter, removing and replacing pavement markers, reconstruction of sidewalk underdrains, and adjustment of utility pull boxes, valves, and manholes. The design for the project was funded by Clark County. The design is at least 90 percent complete, and all necessary right-of-way to construct the project has been obtained. The term of the contract is effective until June 30, 2031, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC has prepared Interlocal Contract No. 3267 for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on April 9, 2026.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
