BACKGROUND:
On April 19, 1988 the Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing the Director of Parks and Recreation to accept donations to the Department in the amount not to exceed $2500 in personal property and $1000 in monetary donations. The resolution also suggested that the Director submit a quarterly report to the Board listing the donations received and their value as estimated by the donor.The report of Donations which details donations is attached.The Department of Parks and Recreation appreciates the generosity of its donors and recommends acceptance of donations.
