Initial contract amount was $31,000,000 and Supplemental No. 1 increase of $29,000,000 revised the total value to $60,000,000. Supplemental No. 2 decrease of $1,743,489 revised the total contract value to $58,256,511. Supplemental No. 3 decrease of $5,000,000 revises the total contract value to $53,256,511.

 

BACKGROUND: 

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 3042 and budgeted funding for the Jones Boulevard between Blue Diamond Road and Windmill Lane project in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund for Fiscal Year 2023. The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on August 2, 2022.

Supplemental No. 3 to Interlocal Contract No. 3042 decreases funds for construction of the project. The time of performance remains effective until December 31, 2027, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC has prepared Supplemental No. 3 to Interlocal Contract No. 3042 for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the third supplemental contract at its meeting on November 13, 2025.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
