BACKGROUND:

On July 14, 2016, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 906 for the Jones Boulevard between Cactus Avenue and Blue Diamond Road project (No. PW.R033R16) on its annual Capital Improvement Program from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Funds.

On August 16, 2016, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 906 providing funds for engineering and right-of-way for the project.  Two supplemental contracts were approved increasing total funds and extending the contract term.

The attached Supplemental No. 3 to Interlocal Contract No. 906 changes the funding account for this project.  Funds for the project are now budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund for Fiscal Year 2022.  The current total contract value is $13,400,000 for this project

This project is identified on RTC's Capital Improvement Program.  RTC approved the third supplemental contract at its meeting on February 10, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
