BACKGROUND:
On July 1, 2024, State of Iowa awarded NASPO Value Point Master Agreement No. 24155 to Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company (LBE), Agreement No. 24156 to Michelin North America, Inc. (LBE), Agreement No. 24157 to Continental Tire the Americas, LLC (LBE), and Agreement No. 24158 to Bridgestone Americas Tire Operation, LLC (LBE) for Tires, Tubes, and Services. The State of Nevada executed participation addendum numbers 99SWC-NV24-21898, 99SWC-NV24-22074, 99SWC-NV24-22192, 99SWC-NV24-22073. This approval allows for the purchase of tires, tubes, and services from the local authorized distributors So. Nevada TBA Supply Co Inc. dba Ted Wiens Tire & Auto Centers and Southern Tire Mart LLC.
The following are the pertinent provisions of this approval:
• The term of the Contract being utilized is from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027 and includes the option to renew for 3, one-year periods.
• Clark County is not under exclusive contract with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Michelin North America, Inc., Continental Tire the Americas, LLC, and Bridgestone Americas Tire Operation, LLC and therefore, can cease purchasing product at any time.
This approval is in accordance with NRS 332.195.1, a governing body or its authorized representative may enter into a contract pursuant to a solicitation by (b) the State of Nevada or another state with the authorization of the contracting vendor.
So. Nevada TBA Supply Co Inc. dba Ted Wiens Tire & Auto Centers currently holds a Clark County Business License. Southern Tire Mart LLC currently holds a Clark County Vendor Registration.
