BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606095-22, for Blue Diamond Wash - Arville Street to I-15 was advertised on February 24, 2022 and opened on April 11, 2022. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for construction of a trapezoidal riprap lined channel, trapezoidal concrete to rectangular concrete channel transition, 12-ft x 6-ft rectangular concrete channel, rectangular concrete channel to RCP transition, RCP mainline ranging in size from 60-in to 72-in in diameter, RCP to RCB transition structure, 6-ft x 5-ft RCB, connection to existing downstream concrete channel, concrete access ramp structures, lateral storm drain pipes, drop inlets, concrete aprons, pavement removal and replacement, utility relocations, pavement striping, signage, existing pedestrian flasher relocation, fencing and other miscellaneous associated improvements.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 270 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
