The annual Contract award was in the amount of $1,048,935.66. The additional funding increase of $354,321.07 will bring the total Contract amount to $1,403,256.73 should all renewal options be exercised, with increased user requirements included. |
BACKGROUND:
On November 21, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of Bid No. 606361-22 to Victory Supply LLC (WBE) for Packages 1, 2, 3 and 7, Bob Barker Company, Inc (LBE) for Packages 4 and 8, and Tabb Textiles Co., Inc. (SBE) for Packages 5 and 6 in the amount of $1,048,935.66 for clothing and accessories for the inmates of the Clark County Detention Center.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from date of award through October 31, 2024 and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods. There are 4 renewal options remaining.
• Included the option to increase the award amount up to 25% based on possible increased user requirements for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
• Included the option to increase the award amount up to 3% for possible price increases for renewal terms.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
This approval will provide for the totals of Packages 7 and 8 which were left off of the original award in error.
The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort.
