BACKGROUND:

On April 8, 2021, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1265 for the Moapa Valley Airport Road Relocation project (also known as Perkins Field Airport) on its annual Capital Improvement Program. The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on May 4, 2021.

Supplemental No. 5 to Interlocal Contract No. 1265 increases construction funds to cover final project costs. The contract term remains effective until June 30, 2026, unless further time extensions are granted.

RTC has prepared the fifth supplemental contract for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the fifth supplemental contract at its meeting on October 9, 2025.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the fifth supplemental contract as to form.
