BACKGROUND: 

On June 19, 2007, the Board of County Commissioners directed staff to initiate an amendment process for the Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP) and incidental take permit. A draft MSHCP amendment application package has been prepared. On September 3, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners directed staff to initiate a public engagement and stakeholder outreach process to solicit feedback on the MSHCP amendment application package.

The Director of the Department of Environment and Sustainability will provide a report on feedback that was provided during the public engagement and stakeholder outreach process, and receive direction accordingly.
