BACKGROUND:

On October 18, 2016, Clark County approved an Interlocal Agreement for Maintenance of Infrastructure Improvements along the Clark County 215 Bruce Woodbury Beltway (CC215) with City of Las Vegas (CLV) to address the maintenance and operation responsibilities for regional flood control facilities, trails and streets crossing the Beltway within the jurisdictions of City of Las Vegas and Clark County. The City of Las Vegas approved the interlocal agreement on October 19, 2016.

The attached first amendment revises the definition of "Trails" and includes additional Infrastructure Improvements that will be transferred by the County to CLV, and maintained by CLV for the purposes of efficient operation and maintenance of the Infrastructure Improvements within, along and across the CC215.

CLV will consider approval of this first amendment at its Council meeting scheduled for December 6, 2023.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first amendment to as to form.
