BACKGROUND:

On April 16, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of RFQ No. 606252-22 for Juvenile Assessment Center to Eagle Quest (NBE) in the amount of $9,478,564.48 for operation of the Juvenile Assessment Centers.

The original contract value was inaccurately calculated. The Amendment reflects the correct dollar amount and the extended value of the contract is now correct as shown above.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:

The term of the Contract was from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025 and included the option to renew                      for 4, one-year periods.  There are 4 renewal options remaining.
Included the option to increase the award amount up to 4% based on possible increased user requirements                      for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract                      with advanced written notice.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will remove services from the Harbor Charleston location.  The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the  modifications and costs involved.

Eagle Quest currently holds a Clark County Vendor Registration.
