BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 605978-21 for Las Vegas Boulevard - Tropicana Avenue to Flamingo Road (Phase E&F) was advertised on October 27, 2021 and opened on February 16, 2022. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

TAB Contractors, Inc. (NBE) $67,026,257.00
This Contract is for the construction of roadway, utility, and miscellaneous improvements to Las Vegas Boulevard from Tropicana Avenue to Flamingo Road, as well as Tropicana Avenue from Las Vegas Boulevard to Koval Lane in Clark County, Nevada. The project includes cold planing, plantmix bituminous surface, Ultrathin Asphalt Concrete Surfacings (UTACS), pedestrian protection device installation, curb and gutter reconstruction, sidewalk reconstruction/widening, sidewalk ramps, median reconstruction, bus turnouts, street lights and Smart poles, LED landscape lighting conversion, landscaping/irrigation modifications, traffic signal modifications, utility adjustments, storm drain systems, pavement markings, signing, power and communication system installation and connection to new Smart poles. This work also includes a new waterline for the entire project length along Las Vegas Boulevard to replace an existing waterline for the Las Vegas Valley Water District.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 520 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
