The total Contract is estimated in the amount of $1,094,660.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On December 18, 2018. the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the Qualified List pursuant to Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) No. 604940-18, to be used on a rotating basis, for Professional Services for Real Property Management for various County projects. TSK dba Tate, Snyder, Kimsey Architects (NBE) is the next firm to be selected from the list.

This Contract is for the design and construction of a new 11,000 square foot fire station complete with three (3) apparatus bay and staff area requirements. Scope of Work includes demolishing existing splash pad, landscaping, trees, flatwork, parking lot and other items required to prepare site for new construction of the approximate 40,000 square foot site.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
                     The term of the Contract shall be from date of award through December 31, 2027. Completion of all                      services shall be prior to December 31, 2027, unless such date is amended by Clark County.
                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with                      advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b), the competitive bidding process is not required as the services to be performed are professional in nature.

TSK dba Tate, Snyder, Kimsey Architects currently holds a Clark County Business License.
