BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606468-22, for Joe W. Brown Drive, Desert Inn Road to Karen Avenue was advertised on March 14, 2023 and opened on April 11, 2023. The Bid amounts are as follows:

Las Vegas Paving Corporation (NBE) $4,350,000
This Contract is for roadway improvements on Joe W. Brown Drive from Desert Inn Road to Karen Avenue. Improvements will include mill and overlay, concrete median islands, sidewalk, streetlights, and traffic signal modifications at the intersection of Karen Avenue and Joe W. Brown Drive, Desert Inn Road and Joe W. Brown Drive, and Karen Avenue and Paradise Road.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 120 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
