BACKGROUND:
On July 20, 2004, the Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing the Fire Chief to accept donations to the department, including personal property valued at up to $2,500 and monetary donations up to $1,000. Individual donations valued at more than $2,500 in personal property or $1,000 in cash will be presented to the Board of County Commissioners for acceptance at a regularly scheduled meeting.Firetrucks Unlimited is pleased to donate firefighting equipment to Clark County Fire Department Rural Division. They recognize the unique challenges faced by rural and wildland fire services in Nevada and are proud to support the department's mission to protect the Las Vegas Rural community. The Clark County Fire Department appreciates the generosity and recommends acceptance of the donation.
