BACKGROUND: 

Health Plan of Nevada (HPN) is an operating subsidiary and managed care organization owned by UnitedHealth Group through UnitedHealthcare, operating as Nevada's oldest and one of its most experienced health maintenance organization (HMO) providers since 1982.

HPN's donation of $18,000 was in support of Grandparents Day held on September 12, 2026, as well as any additional upcoming programming for the remainder of the 2026 year.  These funds were utilized in conjunction with County funds to provide a free event featuring live music, food, and games.

We greatly appreciate the generosity of HPN and UnitedHealthcare Group in support of Grandparents Day as well as additional upcoming Whitney events.
