BACKGROUND: 

NRS 497.190 requires that a Board of Adjustment (Board) be created in conjunction with an Airport Hazard Areas Ordinance. NRS 497.200 requires that the Board consist of five members, each to be appointed for a term of three years by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Title 20.13.100(b) of the Clark County Code specifies that none of the members of the Board may be a member of the BOCC or the Director of Aviation.

James Gerren's term as a member expires on November 7, 2026. Staff recommends that James Gerren be reappointed to the Board.
