BACKGROUND: 

This vehicle, VIN # 1FT8X3BT1EEA98165, has been fully utilized by County Administrative Services and has been retired from service for exceeding the established replacement criteria.  The Mineral County Sheriff's Office has a need for this type of vehicle to assist with animal control efforts. 

In accordance with NRS Chapter 334.030, a governmental entity may enter into a contract with another governmental entity for the purchase of surplus personal property without the necessity of bidding.

The District Attorney has approved the resolution and contract of sale form.
