BACKGROUND: 

Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) allows Clark County to submit four (4) bill draft requests (BDRs) for consideration by the Nevada Legislature during the 2027 Nevada Legislative Session. NRS also requires the Board to determine those BDRs and submit them to the Legislative Counsel Bureau by September 1, 2026.

Staff will provide recommendations for the Board to consider for the bill package and recommendations for additional priorities for the Board to consider and will ask for Board direction.
