The total Contract award was in the amount of $1,937,253.07. To date, the total Contract amount used is $728,447.75. The additional funding increase of $122,721.72 will bring the total Contract amount to $2,059,974.79 should all renewal options be exercised, with increased user requirements included. |
BACKGROUND:
On July 3, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of Bid No. 604827-18 to Brady Industries of Nevada, LLC dba Brady Industries (NBE) for Packages 1, 2, and 3, Phoenix Trading, Inc. dba Amercare Products, Inc. (LBE) for Package 5 and Bob Barker Company, Inc. (LBE) for Packages 6 and 7 in the amount of $1,937,253.07 for Annual Requirements Contract for Personal Hygiene Supplies.
This Contract is for Annual Requirements Contract for Personal Hygiene Supplies with Brady Industries of Nevada, LLC dba Brady Industries (NBE), Phoenix Trading, Inc. dba Amercare Products, Inc. (LBE) and Bob Barker Company, Inc. (LBE)
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from August 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019 and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods and included a 120 day extension. There are no renewal options remaining.
• Included the option to increase the award amount up to 25% based on possible increased user requirements for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
• Included the option to increase the award amount up to 3% for possible price increases for renewal terms.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
This approval will provide for the continuation of services through the Contract extension term of October 31, 2023.
The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort. Brady Industries of Nevada, LLC is a local business which currently holds a Clark County Business License.
