BACKGROUND:

This Contract is for Electronic Monitoring Services with Corrisoft, LLC (LBE).

A Fiscal Directive No. 6, Competitive Bidding Exception, was approved because Corrisoft, LLC is the only vendor to provide AIR Mobile Smartphones to electronically monitor defendants. Las Vegas Justice Courts would not be able to track the defendants that are currently using the monitoring device without the Corrisoft AIR technology.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
The term of the Contract is from date of award through June 30, 2024 and includes the option to renew                      for 4, one-year periods.
Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with                      advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(s), the competitive bidding process is not required as the item to be purchased is for the design of, and equipment and services associated with, systems of communication.

Corrisoft, LLC currently holds a Clark County Vendor Registration.
