BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606697-23, for Peace Way Bridge at Clark County 215 Beltway was advertised on September 7, 2023 and opened on November 14, 2023. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for a new Peace Way Bridge at Clark County 215 Beltway and roadway improvements along Peace Way from Hualapai Way to Cimarron Road. Construction shall include a two-span precast concrete girder bridge carrying Peace Way over CC215. Roadway improvements to include rehabilitate or reconstruct Peace Way roadway, cold planing, plantmix bituminous surface and base, UTACS, new curb and gutter, curb and gutter reconstruction, sidewalk, sidewalk reconstruction, sidewalk ramps, sidewalk ramp reconstruction, median construction, concrete barrier rail, utility adjustments, LED street lights for bridge and parcels receiving curb and gutters, underdeck lights on bridge, chain link fence, Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) conduit, upgrade/replace all signage; school flashing beacon modification, traffic control devices, traffic signal modifications, impact attenuator, and pavement markings along with associated traffic control and dust control. This work also includes thin bonded multilayer overlay of existing bridge deck of the Fort Apache bridge over CC215.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 365 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
