BACKGROUND: 

Per the formal policies adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on December 18, 2012, the Department of Comprehensive Planning is responsible for processing Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Recreation and Public Purpose (R&PP) requests for lease or disposal action.

The attached list entitled “Clark County Reservations Public Purpose Reservations Matrix - Revised April 7, 2026” includes 47 sites, totaling approximately 951.17 acres of land, to be reserved.

If approved, the Acting Director of the Department of Comprehensive Planning will submit the reservations list to the BLM Southern Nevada District Office.
