Agenda note: DISCUSSION: Following introduction of the item, the Board was addressed by Commissioner Jones who advised that liquor delivery was approved on an emergency basis by the Board; the City of Las Vegas approved an ordinance regarding liquor delivery last month; and requested that James Headen, Acting Manager in the Department of Business License, assemble a working group.
Discussion followed regarding topics including restrictions affiliated with third-party delivery, businesses invested significantly in equipment, removing the temporary nature, and concerns regarding liability for business to business deliveries.
Staff was directed to provide an update to the Board at the April 6, 2021 meeting. | |
