BACKGROUND:

These vehicles (VIN #s 1FT8X3BTXDEA18408 and 1FT8X3BT8EEA98163), have been fully utilized by County Administrative Services and have been retired from service for exceeding the established replacement criteria. The Pershing County Sherriff's Office needs to replace aged vehicles and add reliable duty vehicles to its fleet in order to perform animal control functions.

In accordance with NRS Chapter 334.030, a governmental entity may enter into a contract with another governmental entity for the purchase of surplus personal property without the necessity of bidding.

The District Attorney has approved the resolution and contract of sale form.
