Additional Comments: |
The total Contract award was in the amount of $16,800,000. Approved funding increase in the amount of $1,700,000 for a total contract amount of $18,500,000. To date, the total Contract amount used is $17,759,047.79. The additional funding increase of $10,000,000 will bring the total Contract amount to $28,500,000. |
BACKGROUND:
On July 17, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 604932-18 to CDW Government LLC (LBE) in the amount of $2,400,000 annually to provide the purchase of equipment, software, peripherals, and related service.
On October 15, 2019, the Board approved a funding increase of $1,700,000.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from March 1, 2018 through February 28, 2023, and included the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods. There is 1 renewal option remaining.
• Clark County is not under exclusive contract with CDW Government LLC and therefore, can cease purchasing at any time.
A revised Fiscal Directive No. 6, Competitive Bidding Exception, was approved because it is necessary to continue purchasing hardware, software, and support due to increased demands.
This approval will provide for a funding increase due to an increase in changing technology requirements that will require maintenance renewals, new purchases, and additional services.
CDW Government LLC currently holds a Clark County Business License.
