BACKGROUND: 

Scheidt & Bachmann USA, Inc. (Company) is the current provider of the Clark County Department of Aviation's parking and revenue capture system and is familiar with current infrastructure, processes, and system requirements.  Company will install new equipment that will provide for contactless payments, enhanced fraud prevention, minimize staffing requirements, lower maintenance expenses, and allow more flexibility for future system improvements.

The term of this contract is for three (3) years, following installation, with two (2) one-year renewal options.

This contract is exempt from the competitive bidding process in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(c) additions to and repairs and maintenance of equipment which may be more efficiently added to, repaired or maintained by a certain person; (d)equipment which, by reason of the training of the personnel or of an inventory of replacement parts maintained by the local government is compatible with existing equipment; (g) hardware and associated peripheral equipment and devices for computers; (h)software for computers; and (i)maintenance and support for hardware and software.

The contract has been approved as to form by the District Attorney's Office. Company currently holds a Clark County Business License.
