BACKGROUND:
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved the Moapa Valley Airport Road Relocation project (also known as Perkins Field Airport) on its annual Capital Improvement Program from its Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund.The attached Interlocal Contract No. 1265 will provide funds for construction of the subject project. The design is complete, and the time of performance terminates June 30, 2026, unless time extensions are granted.This project is budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund in Fiscal Year 2021. RTC approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on April 8, 2021.The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
