BACKGROUND: 

Nevada Power Company dba NV Energy (NVE) has requested to utilize a 220’ x 140’ temporary construction area on APN 160-30-000-002, a portion of Clark County (County) Wetlands Park (Project) for the purpose of a pulling and tension site to replace a transmission pole. NVE's project name is known as Linquist Winterwood Pole Relocation (Project). NVE will also be accessing a portion of APN 160-30-000-003 which is owned by the Bureau of Reclamation and leased to the County, to complete this Project.

The Temporary Construction Easement (TCE) shall expire six (6) months after commencement of construction or on December 31, 2024, whichever comes first. TCE will be without fee.

NVE is required to use flaggers and commit to keep the service road/trail useable during the temporary construction period. NVE is to provide the construction schedule (i.e., months of construction period) prior to starting work and must give forty-eight (48) hours advance notice prior to accessing the Project Area. Construction hours will be from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.  NVE is to obtain vehicle access permits, and meet all other conditions required as detailed in the TCE.
