BACKGROUND:
The Department of Aviation (DOA) is seeking to utilize the competitively awarded Request for Proposal (RFP) by University of California and OMNIA Partners - Agreement 2019.001564 with Kone, Inc. (Company) to provide elevator, escalator, and moving walkway maintenance for all DOA properties.
This contract was awarded through a competitive RFP process, which was advertised in 17 newspapers nationwide with eight vendors responding. This contract allows the inclusion of Clark County standard terms and conditions and competitive pricing. The initial term is from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year periods.
This request is in accordance with NRS 332.195(1)(a), a governing body or its authorized representative may enter into a contract pursuant to a solicitation by a government entity located within or outside this State with the authorization of the contracting vendor.
Company holds current Clark County business license.
