BACKGROUND:

On June 13, 2019, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved the Cactus Avenue between Verona Wood Street and Polaris Avenue project on its annual Capital Improvement Program from Fuel Revenue Indexing Extension funding.

The Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 1089 on July 2, 2019, to provide funds for construction for the subject project.  The Board approved Supplemental Nos. 1 and 2 to this contract to increase total funds for construction and extend the contract term from June 30, 2020 to June 30, 2025, respectively.

The attached Supplemental No. 3 to this interlocal contract will increase total funds to cover Change Order No.1 (Bid No. 605445-19) with Las Vegas Paving Corporation.

This project is budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund in Fiscal Year 2021.  RTC approved the supplemental contract at its meeting on April 8, 2021.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the supplemental contract as to form.
