Approve and authorize the County Manager or his designee to sign an assignment agreement for professional engineering services and construction management services among Clark County, Horrocks Engineers, Inc. and Horrocks LLC (Lee Jacoby, Nevada Transportation Operations Manager), assigning and transferring all current contracts, including all rights, obligations, terms, conditions, restrictions, interests, duties, and liabilities from Horrocks Engineers, Inc. to Horrocks LLC. BACKGROUND:
Horrocks Engineers, Inc. has changed its corporate name to Horrocks LLC, therefore, requiring an assignment of Horrocks Engineers, Inc.'s existing Contracts with the County to Horrocks LLC.
Horrocks Engineers, Inc., has the following active contracts with the Clark County Department of Public Works:
Jones Boulevard - Blue Diamond Road to Windmill Lane (Project No. R033QFT)
Summerlin Parkway - Clark County 215 Beltway Interchange (Project No. B053315)
Las Vegas Boulevard - I-215S to Russell Road (Phase B) (Project No. S190103)
Maule Avenue and Badura Avenue Connection - Tenaya Way to El Capitan Way (Project No. R242AFT)
Rainbow Boulevard - Blue Diamond Road to Clark County 215 Beltway (Project No. R010PFT)
Jones Boulevard, Blue Diamond Road to Windmill Lane (Project No. R00033U)
As a result, Horrocks Engineers, Inc. requests the aforementioned contracts be reassigned to Horrocks LLC. All new project contracts will be negotiated solely under the official company name of Horrocks LLC.
Horrocks LLC currently holds a Clark County Business License.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the assignment agreement as to form.
