BACKGROUND:
On July 19, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606210-22 for Status Electrical Corporation (LBE) in the amount of $2,408,387.49 for purchase, installation, maintenance and support services of the Clark County Detention Center control room and security system.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from date of award through July 30, 2023 and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods. There are no renewal options remaining.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Amendment No. 1 provided a revision to support and maintenance as hardware purchases and support requirements changed.
Amendment No. 2 provided additional renovations to security systems hardware and integration of the Tucker Holding Facility into the broader security systems infrastructure.
Amendment No. 3 provided additional renovations to security systems hardware and integration of the University Medical Center buildout project into the broader security systems infrastructure
Approval of Amendment No. 4 will provide for integration of the North Valley Complex into the broader security systems infrastructure, upgrades to existing security systems hardware, and the addition of on-site dedicated maintenance services across the Clark County Detention Center main jail, Tucker Holding Facility, and University Medical Center. The attached Amendment No. 4 document details the modifications and costs involved.
Status Electrical Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
