BACKGROUND:
On April 20, 2023, Clark County and the Clark County Defenders Union (CCDU) reached a Tentative Agreement for a new contract effective July 1, 2022. The CCDU membership voted and ratified the agreement on April 25, 2023.
Of the agreement, eight (8) articles were amended.
Attachment I contains the summary of changes.
Attachment II contains the proposed entire agreement including the changed and new language in its entirety for your information. With new language bolded/capitalized and deleted language stricken.
Attachment III is the CCDU Fiscal Impact Assessment Summary which outlines by article which elements of the contract are unchanged, changed with no fiscal impact, and changed resulting in a fiscal impact.
Attachment IV is the CCDU Fiscal Impact Summary which outlines the total contract cost and/or savings of the agreement for one hundred forty (140) impacted CCDU positions.
