Additional Comments:

Supplemental No. 1 increase of $1,200,000 revises the total contract value to $2,000,000.

 

BACKGROUND:

On September 10, 2020, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved the Tropicana Avenue/Broadbent Boulevard between City of Henderson, Nevada limits to Boulder Highway project on the adopted RTC Capital Improvement Plan.

On October 6, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 1229 with RTC for this project.  The attached Supplemental No. 1 to the interlocal contract increases total funds for engineering services for the subject project due to the consultant estimate coming in higher than anticipated.

This project is budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund in Fiscal Year 2021.  RTC approved the supplemental contract at its meeting on June 10, 2021.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the supplemental contract as to form.
