BACKGROUND: 

This Agreement is for mutual aid fire protection and rescue services between Mount Charleston Fire Protection District and City of Henderson.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
•                     The term of the Agreement is from the date of execution through 1 year and will automatically renew for                      additional one-year terms, not to exceed a total term of 6 years.
•                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement                      with advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
