BACKGROUND:

The Clark County Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds for the design and construction of flood control improvements. On October 10, 2019, Clark County and RFCD entered into an interlocal contract for design of the Searchlight West - Highway 164 project. The Board of County Commissioners approved the interlocal contract on November 5, 2019.

Supplemental No. 4 to the interlocal contract increases funding for right-of-way acquisition and design to cover the cost for consultant design services. The time of performance remains effective until June 30, 2026, unless further time extensions are granted.

RFCD approved the fourth supplemental contract at its meeting on February 13, 2025.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the fourth supplemental contract as to form.
