BACKGROUND:

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved and budgeted funding for the Warm Springs Road between Decatur Boulevard and Dean Martin Drive project in the Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund - Fuel Revenue Indexing for Fiscal Year 2024. All necessary rights-of-way to construct the project have been obtained.

Interlocal Contract No. 3128 allocates funds for construction of the Warm Springs Road between Decatur Boulevard and Dean Martin Drive project. The project consists of roadway improvements that include two travel lanes in each direction, landscaped medians, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant driveways and sidewalks, curb and gutter, traffic signal, streetlights, pedestrian flashing beacon system, signing and striping, intelligent transportation system (ITS) conduits, storm drain system, and utility adjustments and relocations. The time of performance is effective until December 31, 2028, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on December 14, 2023.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
